Azores under water
Sperm whales in the Azores islands
The documentary “Azores Under Water” was shot by Saša Dlouhý and Roman Vávra during twelve visits to the Azores islands Pico, Faial and Sao Jorge.
The aim was to depict the largest toothed animal of the planet, namely the sperm whale. This cetacean is a typical representative of a strictly protected or wildlife sea reserve, situated in this area and, therefore, is a symbol of the success of environmental protection.
