Cécile Lamy is a French artist who, after a degree in visual arts in Toulouse and a tree-climbing certification, bases her artistic practice on trees.
Her artistic expression involves a bodily relationship with trees, blending artwork and tree climbing.
She works with a variety of mediums including drawing, painting, writing, and video. She questions our relationship with trees and their unique way of being-in-the-world.
She exhibits her work in group and solo shows, and takes part in artistic residencies that enable her to meet specific trees and develop in situ projects.
