FREESAM announces NU´VEM artist residency
The monthly residencies on the island of Pico in the Azores will take place between February and June 2023.
The program is intended for all active artists who are interested in creating in the unique and inspiring environment of the island in the middle of the Atlantic.
NU´VEM residential program 2023 - part I is advertised for these artist fields - painting, sculpture, architecture and new media.
The project is supported by its own resources and is independent of any institutions and authorities. Its goal is the development of exchange in the arts and culture. The topic of the project that the applicants submit as part of the application must reflect the Azores or environmental protection.
The member of the selection committee for the first part of the year 2023 will be Edith Jeřábková - art historian, art critic and curator.
